Along with with the City Meals on Wheels program, The Linguistics Club is running a workshop where we'll write cards, in their native languages, to isolated elderly people, many of whom don't have anyone to see regularly.
If you know Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Korean, French, German, or Italian--your skills would be greatly appreciated and will be a great comfort to seniors who may rarely communicate in their native languages.
English speakers are also more than welcome to come help; we also need letters in English!
